Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
The CT Technician plays a vital role in our Imaging department, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings to perform a variety of CT Scan imaging procedures. These procedures help diagnose medical conditions, and our team members work closely with physicians and other Imaging staff to ensure accurate and efficient care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the CT scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients.
- Obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Determine the most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Florida License as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
- A current ARRT Certification.
- A current BLS Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technologist training program in an AMA-approved school.
