Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment
  • Assist dentists with treatment at the chairside, using proper instruments and materials
  • Take radiographs, impressions, and other necessary steps to support dental care
  • Provide patient education on oral health and hygiene techniques
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Valid Illinois driver's license and auto liability insurance
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Graduate of a Dental Assisting Program/clinical component
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform occasional bending and stooping

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $17.60-$30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and DANB certification)
  • 12 vacation days earned in the first year
  • 11 paid personal days/holidays per calendar year
  • 6 sick days earned per year
  • Retirement plan with 3% company contribution after becoming eligible

  • $50,000 in life insurance at no cost to the employee
