The Bartender maintains cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and supplies, collaborating with front-of-house staff to deliver a dining experience that meets or surpasses guest expectations. Observing guests to ensure satisfaction with food, beverages, and service is crucial, along with responding to additional requests. This position also involves overseeing staff performance, including morale, punctuality, and any disciplinary matters. A clean, safe, and organized workplace is maintained in accordance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Craft both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
  2. Engage with guests, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
  3. Evaluate guests' preferences and provide recommendations.
  4. Combine ingredients to create cocktails.
  5. Verify guests' identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age.
  6. Restock and replenish bar supplies and inventory.
  7. Focus on guest satisfaction and foster an exceptional dining experience.
  8. Adhere to all food and beverage safety regulations.
  9. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning protocols, ensuring all visible areas are maintained throughout the shift.
  10. Execute accurate and timely transactions at the POS for all guests, ensuring prompt service.
  11. Handle lifting responsibilities for stocking bar products, including beverages and garnishes.
  12. Manage cash handling procedures effectively.
  13. Ensure guest relations by meeting needs and requests promptly.
  14. Adhere to safety and health guidelines to protect personal and guest well-being.
  15. Oversee inventory management, ensuring quality and responsible alcohol service.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience as a bartender.
  • Strong knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.
  • Proficient in computer operations.
  • Positive demeanor and excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain an organized, stocked, and clean bar area.
  • TABC Certification is required.
