Electrophysiology Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team at Research Medical Center. As an EP Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology patient procedures, including cardiac device implantation.

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic invasive electrophysiology patient procedures, including cardiac device implantation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiographic imaging, 3D cardiac mapping of electrophysiological pathways, patient physiologic monitoring, and cardiac arrhythmia recognition and pacing during EP ablation procedures.
• Comply with principles of sterile techniques.
• Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis, and performance improvement.
• Responsible for carrying out any other activities assigned by the supervisor to ensure the department runs effectively and efficiently.

• Graduate from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiographic Technology program, or equivalent combination of education and 2 years clinical experience.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of start date.
• ACLS Certification required within 6 months of start date.
• RCES certification preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular environment with competency in arrhythmia and 12-lead electrocardiography interpretation, or equivalent clinical experience as part of education.
