- Participate in performance improvement/research activities and maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and core and unit-specific competencies based on the patient population served.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as a RN.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Critical Care Experience.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- BSN Degree (Preferred).
- 1-2 years of Pediatric Cardiac Experience (Preferred).
- Certification in Specialty (Preferred).
