Oracle ETL Developer Role

Overview:
The selected candidate will undertake an ETL/Oracle developer position within the 14Q initiative, focusing on the Wholesale Credit sector.

Key Responsibilities:
The individual will engage with various stakeholders to architect and implement a Regulatory data platform.

  • Develop applications and ETL processes within the Global Banking Regulatory Data Source Ecosystem.
  • Extract data from diverse systems into the Oracle Exadata Data Lake, ensuring data conformity and availability for downstream processes.
  • Convert functional and technical specifications into comprehensive design documents.
  • Ensure adherence to security protocols and data privacy standards.
  • Recommend best practices and standards; prepare both high-level and detailed design documentation.
  • Conduct coding and unit testing, while providing support for System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production rollouts.
  • Demonstrate strong database programming capabilities, including the design and development of stored procedures, functions, tables, and triggers, as well as optimizing SQL queries for performance.
  • Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovative thinking skills.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience working in Agile teams is essential.

Foundational Skills:
Proficiency in the following areas is required:

  • Oracle Exadata, PL/SQL
  • Informatica
  • Unix Shell Scripting, Autosys
  • Experience in Agile methodologies

Desired Skills:
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is advantageous.

Client Experience:
Prior experience with clients in the Wholesale Credit domain is preferred.
