Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team at TriStar Summit Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures using advanced medical equipment, including echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to strict confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Echo Medical Sonography Program.
  • American Heart BLS certification, obtained and maintained according to hospital policy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for extended periods.
