Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Produce high-quality images by adjusting equipment settings, using contrast agents, and applying other techniques as needed.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images, reports, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging equipment, including CT scanners, and ability to operate and maintain equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
