Job Description:
  • Create comprehensive mechanical designs for complex projects, including HVAC systems master planning & studies; HVAC & Plumbing systems; mechanical systems (co-generation); sustainability/energy efficiency/renewable energy/green buildings, etc.
  • Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations and sign off on completed designs.
  • Ensure that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of mechanical/facilities related projects, ensuring that they meet client project requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposal (RFPs).
  • Meet with current and potential future clients to review their current and future design needs.
  • Perform site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience leading and managing the design of mechanical/facilities related projects. They will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills, expert knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices, engineer principles of design, and Microsoft business software.
