Wildland Firefighter OpportunityThe Student Conservation Association is seeking a dedicated and physically fit individual to join our 2025 Table Rock Fire Crew. As a wildland firefighter, you will play a critical role in prescribed burning, fuel reduction, and wildfire response. This dynamic and exciting opportunity is perfect for those passionate about wildland fire and conservation work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare US Forest Service lands for burning
- Conduct prescribed burning and other conservation tasks
- Support wildfire response and work long hours and/or weekends as needed
Requirements:
- Pass the Work Capacity Test at the arduous level
- Ability to work variable hours, at remote locations, and in physically demanding circumstances
- Ability to perform manual labor for up to 10 hours per day
Benefits:
