About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Project Director, overseeing the strategic direction and operational execution of our organization. This individual will be responsible for leading by example through servant leadership values, promoting the company mission, vision, values, and brand, and developing and maintaining strong relationships with funders, staff, partners, and employers.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fiscal management, including forecasting spending to ensure funding availability throughout the fiscal year, creating and delivering on Equus and funder's budget expectations, and reviewing costs to ensure alignment with local, federal, and state allowances.

This role also involves human resource responsibilities, including hiring, coaching, disciplining (when appropriate), and managing team members to include consistent onboarding and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example through servant leadership values

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with funders, staff, partners, and employers
  • Manage fiscal operations of the project, including forecasting spending to ensure funding availability throughout the fiscal year
  • Create and deliver on Equus and funder's budget expectations
  • Review costs to ensure alignment with local, federal, and state allowances
  • Manage human resource responsibilities, including hiring, coaching, disciplining (when appropriate), and managing team members

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or closely related field of study
  • Operational leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years professional experience organizing, planning, and developing programs and services at a management level, including supervision of others
  • Senior level management experience managing multiple departments/functions/teams, with direct responsibility to executive leadership or a board of directors strongly desired
  • Fiscal / financial management experience, operational oversight, and experience managing grants and/or contracts
  • Proven ability to manage contractual relationships

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per annum
