As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding stainless steel subassemblies according to ASME code, applying proficiency in 6G welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Welding and Fabrication
- Weld stainless steel subassemblies according to ASME code, applying proficiency in 6G welding techniques.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Select appropriate welding methods, tools, and materials based on project specifications and materials being used.
- Set up welding equipment and operate machinery to join, fabricate, and repair metal components and structures.
- Perform various welding tasks with precision and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality welds and strong structural integrity.
- Monitor and maintain welding equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Inspect welded joints and structures to identify and address defects or imperfections.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with Team Lead to ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- TIG welding experience.
- Ability to pass the 6G TIG Test.
- Personal Qualities
- Willing and able to work 1st shift, with flexibility to work overtime when needed.
- Demonstrated positive work history and reliable attendance record.
- Strong self-directed and proactive work ethic.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required.
