Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of pharmacy systems, medications, and customer service best practices.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
- PTCB certification.
- Knowledge of store inventory control.
