We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
Responsibilities:- Operate MRI Equipment: You will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare Patients: You will interview patients to explain MRI procedures, address patient concerns, and ensure patient safety.
- Conduct MRI Studies: You will conduct MRI studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
- Monitor Patient Safety: You will ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
- Train and Orient New Hires: You will orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
- Experience: You must have at least 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
- Licensure: You must be licensed in the required state.
- Education: You must have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
- Skills: You must possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail, with effective oral and written communication skills.
