Position Overview: As an Assembly Supervisor at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc., you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting Assemblers within mechanical and electrical teams. Your leadership will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving tier 1 escalations within assembly cells.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within your Value Stream (VS).
  • Provide expertise, motivation, and support to team members regarding cell operations.
  • Assemble systems according to specifications.
  • Maintain and update resource planning and reporting documentation.
  • Oversee the Return to Stock (RTS) process and manage missing parts effectively.
  • Conduct daily assessments of assembly cells and recommend improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Facilitate training sessions for new and existing assemblers on machine assembly processes.
  • Document assembly hours and any disturbances in the workflow using designated tools.
  • Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Participate in audits and support the 5S program within the assembly area.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience as a Level III Assembler or a minimum of 3-5 years in electrical or mechanical assembly.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
