About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our Distribution Center operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, including electrical, HVAC, conveyor, forklift, and fire preventative equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 15-20 maintenance associates across multiple shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's success.
  • Efficiency and Safety: Establish efficiency goals and safety procedures for all equipment, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships and monitor work conducted, serving as a project manager on improvements and repairs.
  • Parts and Equipment Sourcing: Source and order parts and equipment as needed to support maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience leading a team of mechanics or maintenance professionals.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of building codes, trade standards, and general practices within the maintenance industry; strong communication, interpersonal, and project management abilities.
