Key Responsibilities:


As the Pharmacy Manager, you will lead and mentor pharmacy staff, driving departmental sales and ensuring exceptional customer service to meet profitability objectives.

Your duties will include accurately processing prescriptions, managing related documentation, and addressing customer inquiries about medication usage.

You will also work closely with healthcare professionals and insurance providers to gather and confirm essential customer data.

Responsibilities include:
  • Recruiting, training, and developing pharmacy personnel.
  • Planning, assigning, and supervising daily operational tasks.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and addressing any disciplinary issues.
  • Creating and managing staff schedules.
  • Resolving partner complaints and operational challenges.
  • Implementing inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Analyzing financial data, including profit and loss, sales, and labor metrics.
  • Providing management with verbal or written reports on pharmacy performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company regulations regarding security and confidentiality.
  • Administering immunizations and participating in community health initiatives.
  • Maintaining a welcoming and customer-focused atmosphere.
  • Building and nurturing professional relationships with local healthcare providers.


Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations.
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) degree.
  • HIPAA certification.
  • Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
  • Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
