Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, ensuring they meet state and federal regulations and company policies.
- Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead performance management of technicians, including making decisions regarding discipline and termination.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- At least one year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. We offer a competitive salary range of $22.50 - $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
