Job Title: Orthopedic Care Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Samaritan Health Services. As an Orthopedic Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthopedic patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist practitioners in performing procedures, including telephone prescription orders and refills, and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Provide safe and quality nursing care under the direction of SHS practitioners and the Clinic Supervisor within scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and excellent outcomes.

Requirements:
- Current unencumbered Oregon LPN licensure required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred, with lab/EKG experience also preferred.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Patient care: Possess the skills and knowledge needed to assist and care for others, recognizing symptoms, drug properties, and interactions, treatments, and preventive health-care measures within scope of practice.
- Adaptability and flexibility: Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to situations that may arise with high-risk or diverse patient populations.
- Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues.
- Team building: Ability to work, function, and communicate on a multi-disciplinary team, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.

Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
