Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a Principal Mechanical Engineering Manager. In this role, you will oversee the detailing and releasing of engineering drawings for components and systems, excel in 2D and 3D designs, partner with other vehicle systems teams to create comprehensive solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience in hydraulics, drive-line, or engine installation, and proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, & SolidWorks. Additionally, they will have experience establishing site KPI's to analyze performance, experience in BOM & SOP documentation, and a 'hands on' mentality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the detailing and releasing of engineering drawings for components and systems.
• Excel in 2D and 3D designs, partnering with other vehicle systems teams to create comprehensive solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, understanding the ENTIRE Manufacturing Process to identify bottlenecks.
• Work Cross Functionally and Communicate across departments to ensure high levels of efficiency.
• Establish site KPI metrics to analyze local success.
• Implement LEAN Manufacturing principles.

What We Offer

• Estimated Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year based on experience.
