Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power & HVAC Technician to join our team at United Rentals. As a key member of our Power/HVAC division, you will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks and minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs on diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification/air purification equipment.

  • Report equipment condition before and after usage to ensure optimal performance.

  • Demonstrate equipment to customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.

  • Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment is essential.

  • Mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of tools applicable to the position, is required.

  • Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills are necessary.

  • A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.

  • Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
