Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sovah Health - Danville. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and facilities.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using hospital wiring diagrams and electrical drawings.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles, including cleaning, checking fluids, battery, lights, lubrication, and general overall condition.
  • Assist with construction projects, including painting, patching, and demolition.
  • Replace ceiling tiles, repair leaking valves and faucets, and perform other minor repairs as needed.
  • Document all information required by the preventative maintenance program.
  • Record all medical gas readings and converter temperatures as required.
  • Check and record all hot water tank temperatures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Journeyman/Master Certification or minimum of ten (10) years in commercial/industrial electrical work.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.
