Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter/Welder to join our team at Aegis Worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a focus on quality and safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding and fitting tasks using MIG flux core welding techniques, reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, and operating and maintaining welding equipment and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding and fitting tasks using MIG flux core welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
  • Utilize forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and equipment as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manufacturing, forklift operation, or overhead crane operation.
  • Proficiency in MIG flux core welding.
