Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our Outpatient Rehab team at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital. As a PRN Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide therapy to patients based on their individual needs and medical direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Provide patient and caregiver education on adaptive equipment and therapy techniques
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing process improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • 2 years of relevant experience in pediatric speech therapy
  • CRT-Speech Language Pathologist certification from ASHA
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
