Physician Empire is seeking a primary care physician to join our team in a charming coastal community on the west coast of Florida. This is an employed opportunity with a private medical group, offering a competitive base salary, commencement bonus, and assistance with medical education debt.
Community Overview:
The community is situated on the Gulf of Mexico, near Sarasota, and is known for its friendly, small-town feel, charming downtown shopping area, and elegant boulevards shaded by giant oaks. The region offers a unique blend of business, culture, and natural beauty, with miles of beaches and blue skies.
Practice Details:
The primary care practices in the community have limited new patient appointments and are scheduling as far as 8 weeks. A 15-year-old private medical group is expanding and seeking two primary care physicians to join their group based on community need. The group currently has 8 locations with 25 physicians and 3 APPs.
Position Highlights:
- Employed opportunity with a private medical group
- Phone call schedule is currently 1 in 3 (eventually 1 in 4)
- Hospitalist service for all inpatient admissions/inpatient call
- Outpatient office with 3 exam rooms per provider and staff support
