Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Concentra. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients.
As a PRN role, you will work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, covering Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, Concord, and Brentwood locations. If you are a motivated and compassionate healthcare professional looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities- Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests.
- Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
- Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
- Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university.
- Board Certification.
- Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
- FMCSA NRCME certification required prior to start date.
- DEA certification required prior to start date.
- Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency setting.

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions.
- Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to deal with people in a manner that shows tact and professionalism.
