Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Kimball International. As a key member of our shipping and receiving team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials within our warehouse.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Manage the loading, unloading, and staging of products at the warehouse
  • Coordinate the movement of raw materials and finished goods
  • Audit the unloading and loading of products to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Run reports and troubleshoot issues using SAP and Oracle
  • Perform quality checks and inspect products for damage
  • Communicate with the planning process to smooth out the loading process
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and requirements, including ISO 14001
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach to resolve customer issues
  • Use documents and computer systems to accurately process materials
  • Keep the workspace and equipment clean and well organized
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as required
  • Follow all safety guidelines and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Support the company's Vision and Guiding Principles
  • Perform job rotation as directed and train others in material handling roles


Requirements:




  • 1 year experience in Material Handling or Manufacturing
  • Oracle and SAP experience preferred
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Email)
