About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team at the Hispanic Technology Executive Council. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our trading desks and risk management teams to identify and monitor market risks and capital management across various asset classes.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential losses and maximize returns.
  • Collaborate with our quantitative analytics and technology teams to enhance existing risk models and improve risk infrastructure.
  • Work with our business heads to analyze return on capital and risk appetite ratio.
  • Strengthen risk monitoring, control, and governance processes within the business.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in market risk/trading analyst roles, with a strong understanding of mortgage-backed and asset-backed products.
  • Good understanding of various risk models, securitization structures, and regulatory requirements (Basel 2.5 and FRTB).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Fluency in MS Excel, VBA, and basic programming skills (e.g., Python).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
