Position Overview- Specialty: CVICU
- Discipline: RN

- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Contract Duration: 14 weeks
Job Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the CVICU setting. The role requires a strong background in critical care nursing, particularly in post-operative recovery.
Qualifications:
- Active KY nursing license
- Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience
- Proficiency in post-operative recovery
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience with ECMO is a plus
Additional Information:
The position requires familiarity with advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, chest tubes, and pacemakers. Compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination guidelines is mandatory, with exemptions considered for medical or religious reasons.
