Job SummaryGulf Marine Repair seeks a skilled Shipyard Craftsman to join our team. As a Shipyard Craftsman, you will be responsible for providing lay-out, assembly, fitting, tacking, welding and finishing of shipyard components and assemblies in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
In this role, you will use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, bend, fit and weld steel and to install all other related items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
