As an ICU Travel Nurse RN, you'll be responsible for providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological conditions. You'll work closely with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

About the Unit:

The ICU unit at our hospital is a 10-bed unit with a team of 21 RNs. The patient ratios are 2:1, and the unit is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Baxter IV pumps, SCD pumps, Artic sun, balloon pump, Train of Four, BIS monitor, and Vigileo. The EMR system used is Meditech.

Must-haves for this role include ICU experience and ACLS/BLS certification. Charge experience is a plus. Typical procedures performed on the unit include central line placement, intubation, and bronch/Scope.
