Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of Microsoft Windows server, hardware, and operating system, including deployments, hardware migrations, and system upgrades in a 24x7x365 high availability global environment.
  • Capacity planning of server environment.
  • Documentation and new technology research as required.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, deployment, and automation tools such as Solar Winds, Data Dog, PDQ, and Jenkins.
  • Security hardening (CIS) and patch management leveraging Ivanti Patch management tools and Tenable security tools.
  • Second/Third-level Help Desk ticket resolution for a 24x7x365 operation.
  • Participation in an on-call after-hours support rotation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in an Infrastructure role with a focus on Microsoft server systems administration.
  • Experience with automation utilizing Power Shell, PDQ, and Jenkins.
  • Experience working with systems management tools.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and performance management tools like Data Dog or Solarwinds a plus.
  • AWS / Cloud experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts and technologies.

Education and Certifications
