Job Summary

As an Interventional Radiologic Technologist at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team. This position requires a strong foundation in radiography and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures and related techniques to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and intervention.
  • Assist interventional physicians with procedures, maintaining sterile technique and preparing sterile trays with necessary supplies.
  • Charge and track supplies properly, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow.
  • Provide patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful procedure completion.
  • Receive and execute physician orders, actively participating in patient satisfaction and customer service.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • CRT-Radiographer (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire.
  • CRT-Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) certification from the ARRT within 2 years.
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) within 90 days.
Work Environment

This role is based at Butterworth Hospital, with a 12-week rotation that includes on-call shifts. As a member of our team, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
