About the JobThis role involves creating and maintaining technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in technical writing, including knowledge of grammar and syntax, and the ability to write clear, concise copy for various types of documents.
You'll work closely with developers to produce high-quality documentation and training materials, ensuring that all phases of documentation are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents.
- Write technical copy for various types of documents.
- Gather technical information and prepare written text.
- Maintain a current internal documentation library.
- Use multiple word processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Prepare reports, responses, and briefings targeted at a wide range of audiences.
- Coordinate layout and design of documents.
We're looking for candidates with:
- Two years of experience as a TW in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- An Associate's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Strong expertise in technical writing, including knowledge of grammar and syntax.
