Pathology Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Pathology Associate to join our R&D team in Gilroy, California. The successful candidate will support plant disease diagnosis using molecular biology tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform DNA, RNA, and protein extraction from plant materials and soil samples.
- Set up and execute plant disease diagnosis using PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, ELISA, and hybridization.
- Develop and validate protocols for fast and accurate plant disease diagnosis.
- Collaborate with the Breeding Team to identify and evaluate the impact of new technologies.
- Track and maintain plant disease diagnosis results on database systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology or Agriculture.
- Relevant knowledge of plant pathology, molecular biology, and microbiology.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a biological laboratory.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
