Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and review the work of contractors to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Research and analyze engineering data, design methods, and contract specifications to inform project decisions.
  • Prepare and monitor budgets for construction projects, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting.
  • Represent the County in official capacities, providing technical expertise and presenting project information to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and the public to resolve issues and provide solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in civil engineering or a related field, including project management experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets established Gloucester County driving standards.
