Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and curriculum-based materials.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure consistent communication and support for students.
  • Provide progress reports and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in speech and language therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech, or Speech Audiology.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Virginia.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
