Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that the quality of the product being packed meets or exceeds customer requirements
  • Perform a variety of tasks and positions in support of plant operations, including packing, labeling, and palletizing
  • Follow run sheets and confirm daily planning with plant supervision
  • Print labels and verify label information with management
  • Ensure cases are in compliance with customer requirements
  • Confirm dates on cartons are correct based on customer requirements
  • Provide appropriate packing material for products being produced
  • Ensure cases are properly labeled, sealed, and stacked with outstanding quality
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior egg grading machine operator experience an asset but not mandatory
  • Knowledge and ability to use a computer
  • Reading and comprehension skills necessary to follow instructions and document carton usage
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to twist and bend
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time on different surfaces
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities. They will also be required to follow all safety rules and regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment as necessary.
