Key Responsibilities

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to delve into the steel and construction reinforcement sectors while advancing your career. Your day may involve a variety of tasks, from strategic planning in an office to hands-on operations in the field. You will receive the necessary training and support to excel in your position.

Your Duties Will Include
  • Generating estimates and conducting takeoffs while preparing and dispatching preliminary scope letters, bid forms, and documents to adhere to bid timelines
  • Collaborating effectively within a dynamic team environment, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Producing rebar estimates that align with industry and company standards for diverse structures
  • Maintaining precise records and documentation for each project while ensuring a tidy work environment
  • Overseeing the Bid Process and coordinating with the assigned Sales Representative
  • Performing additional responsibilities as required
  • Exhibiting excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Utilizing estimating software to calculate quantities and develop proposals
Qualifications
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting contract drawings (blueprints) with strong mathematical capabilities
  • Able to follow directions and work autonomously while meeting deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick learner with the ability to multitask
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
