Job Summary

The VDC Manager I is a key member of our team, responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day management of the VDC process. This role involves the execution of work associated with constructability development and coordination of project documents for one or more projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project coordination on simultaneous projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Develop project-specific BIM Standards & Specifications (BS&S) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Draft project coordination schedules and budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Manage the daily coordination activities of a small team of VDC Engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Coach and develop VDC Engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive coordination documentation to facilitate project progress.
  • Participate in sales strategy, pursuits, presentations, and winning work to drive business growth.
  • Lead 4-5 VDC deliverables at one time, including through the work of direct reports.
Requirements
  • BA/BS/MS degree in Architecture, Engineering, or BIM-related specialties.
  • 4+ years of VDC Coordination experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
