As a Sports Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality sports experience to our young athletes, while building relationships with players, parents, and coaches.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Practice Sessions: Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions, focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun.
- Teach Core Concepts: Teach and demonstrate core concepts, including sportsmanship values, to ensure a positive and inclusive sports environment.
- Game Day Operations: Supervise the overall operation of designated sports on game day, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Customer Service: Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills, providing exceptional support to players, parents, and coaches.
- Field Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down fields, ensuring a safe and well-maintained playing environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with players, parents, and coaches.
- Sport-Specific Coaching Experience: Have sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge, with a strong understanding of youth sports development principles.
- Highly Motivated and Self-Starter: Be a highly motivated and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
- Safety-Conscious: Demonstrate awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players.
- Positive Attitude and Professional Relationships: Possess a positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships with players, parents, and coaches.
- Availability to Work Weekends: Be available to work weekends, for the duration of the season, approximately 7 weeks.
- Criminal Background Check: Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
