Medical Oncologist, Gastrointestinal Cancer Specialist

Providence Cancer Institute of Oregon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Oncologist to lead and develop a comprehensive GI Oncology program.
This role will leverage the world-class expertise of the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute in immunotherapy and foster a multidisciplinary approach to GI malignancies.
The ideal candidate will be excited by the opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and clinical research.
As Director of GI Oncology, you will drive forward clinical research initiatives and integrate research findings into clinical practice.
You will also mentor and support junior faculty, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
Additionally, you will engage in community outreach and education to raise awareness of GI malignancies and available treatments.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in gastrointestinal malignancies and experience with clinical trials, ideally including Phase 1 trials.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing clinical programs are essential.
A commitment to integrating clinical research with patient care is also required.
Board Certified in Medical Oncology and eligible for medical licensure in the state of Oregon are must-haves.
