Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Lorien Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and effective patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement plans to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patients' needs are met and that their families are informed and involved in the care process.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current Maryland RN license, valid and in good standing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, and to be available to work every other weekend.
