Cluster Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Superintendent to join our team at Gwinnett County Public Schools. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and support to our schools, ensuring the highest level of academic excellence and student achievement.

• Instructional Leadership: Provide guidance and support to school principals, ensuring the implementation of effective instructional strategies and curricula.
• Administrative Support: Facilitate administrative meetings and training opportunities, ensuring that school administrators have the necessary tools and resources to succeed.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other divisions and departments to meet the system's mission and objectives, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization.
• Leadership Development: Provide coaching and mentoring to school administrators, helping them to develop their leadership skills and abilities.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Analyze data and make informed decisions to drive improvement and innovation in our schools.

• Education: Specialist degree in a related field required; Doctorate degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: Five years of local school administration experience, with three years as a local principal required; district-level leadership experience preferred.
• Skills: Collaborative leadership, strategic planning, written and oral communication, technology proficiency, human relations, and public relations.

This position requires frequent sitting, talking, hearing, standing, and walking. The employee may be required to use hands to finger, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
