We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technician II to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care
- Assure that all equipment, instrumentation, and supplies are available for surgical procedures
- Articulate the needs of surgeons and communicate effectively with team members
- Participate in setting up and turning over operating rooms for cases
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment
- High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent
- Graduate of Surgical Technologist program, military trained, or AD in Surgical Technology preferred
- Complies with Texas House Bill #643
- 1 year or more prior experience and must have worked as a Surgical Technologist prior to 09/01/2009 (if not a graduate of a Surgical Technology Program)
