Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled piano accompanist to join our choral program. The ideal candidate will have advanced piano and accompaniment skills, as well as the ability to work with students of various abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide piano accompaniment for choral groups
  • Work with students to develop their musical skills
  • Assist the director with rehearsals and performances
  • Participate in occasional after-school, evening, and weekend rehearsals and performances

Requirements:

  • Advanced piano and accompaniment skills
  • Proficient sight-reading skills
  • Ability to work with students of various abilities
  • Organizational skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and understanding

What We Offer:

  • A 9-month, 6.5 hour/day position
  • Occasional after-school, evening, and weekend rehearsals and performances
  • Compensation for additional hours worked outside of the regular school day
