Job Title: Medical Technologist Travel Position

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Medical Technologist to fill a travel position in Reno, Nevada.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in Reno, Nevada. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing lab tests on patient specimens to assist in the detection, diagnosis, and monitoring of diseases.

You will also be responsible for collecting samples of fluids, tissues, and other substances from patients, testing and analyzing samples, and discussing findings with physicians.

Additionally, you will work standing for extended periods of time and may be required to perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:
  • Must have American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification or American Medical Technologists (AMT) certification
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Must have experience as a Generalist, Blood Banking, Phlebotomy, Urinalysis, Hematology
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized individual
  • Demonstrable familiarity with complex medical equipment
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and irregular hours
