We are seeking an Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our safety-conscious team in Shelbyville, KY. This role will involve performing tasks associated with hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) matching, and employee stock purchase plan.

Job Description

As an Environmental Remediation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner
  • Engaging in strenuous physical labor, including lifting and pulling heavy objects
  • Operating light and heavy equipment, handling various hand tools and powered industrial tools, working with vibration-producing tools
  • Wearing and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities
  • Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination
Preferred Qualifications

Previous relevant labor experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.
