Job Description

Cogent Infotech Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Process Supervisor to oversee the production of custom electronics and electronic systems. The successful candidate will have experience managing employees, leading teams, and improving manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of manufacturing operations from engineering requirements to production and delivery of end item to customer
  • Close collaboration with multiple teams to ensure manufacturing milestones are achieved within budget while adhering to master plans and schedules
  • Servicing as a direct supervisor/managing assembly labor personnel in accordance with prescribed manufacturing schedules, cost (hours per unit) targets, and quality levels
  • Interface, develop relationships, and work closely with manufacturing leadership, production planning, the program management office, engineering and procurement, PMO, and functional organizations to resolve production issues and facilitate on-time delivery
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration with electronic manufacturing experience or AS in relevant field with six years of related work experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments, demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, and proven leadership and management capability
  • U.S. Citizenship required

The estimated salary for this position is $115,000 per year.
