Key Responsibilities
• Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces
• Perform daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures
• Respect residents' confidentiality and rights
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents, families, and staff
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to pass activity certification program
• Willingness to increase training through in-services
• Ability to read, write, speak, and follow oral and written directions in English
• Must be at least 18 years of age
Work Environment
• Works in well-lit and ventilated areas
• Subject to possible falls, odors, and injuries from equipment
• May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, chemicals, and various viruses
